What was your life style like when you deciced to follow Jesus?
I lived in the country (Jillaroo).
I was very happy, loved the country life. I lived with a good family, animals, farm work, picnics, polo matches, tennis games, dances and balls, friends, etc.
What year were you baptised?
1965 at 17 years of age.
Where did you begin to worship and what was your first impression of the church?
Wynnum church of Christ, a wonderful loving family, where I was happy to be a Christian and felt like I belonged.
What difficulties / challenges did you have in striving to be like Jesus?
I had to give up country life and learn to live in the city, sometimes i felt like i had to work for my salvation.
What challenges did you have in feeling part of the Lord’s body?
I always felt like I was part of the Lord’s family. No problems.
What principles of the Restoration movement (restoring Christianity to be as it is in the New Testament) are important to you?
Simplicity of Christianity.
No man an authority.
Bible based.
What did you think about having no musical instruments in worship?
I like acapella singing, but not having musical instruments didn’t affect me much.
What spiritual interest did you have before becoming a Christian?
I grew up occasionally going to Sunday school. I knew there was a God.
What is important to you, in how you walk in Jesus today?
Walk a balanced life, grow in wisdom.
Be a good ambassador for my Lord.
Learn to have a closer relationship with God/Jesus.
Appreciate and worship God/Jesus.
Serve others because of Him.
Improve my Bible study.

Holland Park, 110?
What roles do you carry out in the church?
Teaching a small Bible class in my home.
Organizing activities.
Especially work with children and activities.
Being a happy member of the Lord’s church.
